$10 Indian Eagle gold coins were minted from 1907 to 1933 and creator of their design is famous sculptor August-Saint Gaudens. Obverse side shows Liberty crowned by an American Indian war bonnet. This Indian design addition cause at first initial shock of public, but after some while this coin became much appreciated for such brave design.
Reverse of the coins shows majestic American eagle, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA on top, and denomination stated with letters TEN DOLLARS at the bottom. These coins have excellent value today, because not much of them survived, and especially rare are the ones in excellent condition.
Their diameter is 27 mm and they were minted in Philadelphia, San Francisco and Denver. These wonderful coins are always valuable addition to any serious collection. However because of constant demand and their unique beauty these coins are not easy affordable.
